Who have we helped with redesigns?
Megaubytovanie + DE, EN, PL, CZ, HU languages
Technology: Next.js

Megaubytovanie and Megaubytko is a portal with millions of landing pages and six language versions, including subdomains like de.megaubytko.cz. We were part of the team for a complete website redesign, where it was not just about the website and design, but also a change in the technologies used. In this case as well, we managed it without a drop in organic traffic.

Boataround
Technology: PHP and JavaScript with hybrid rendering
You do not win the Tour de France with a punctured inner tube. But that happened to Boataround. We had to repair and replace the inner tube, that is, the website. Search engines were having a hard time crawling the website and processing the content.
The problems were mainly caused by the heavily simplified mobile version of the site and by generating a large part of the content using JavaScript technology, which created issues for search engines. Managing the website transition was one of the key changes that enabled future growth in gross profit from SEO by hundreds of thousands of EUR per year.

ZOOT

During the ZOOT redesign (CZ, SK, RO language versions), there were major changes especially in URLs, and at the same time the website was moving from http to the more secure https protocol.
Even though there were slight drops after launching the new version, thanks to timely intervention we caught and resolved them quickly. This allowed us to maintain organic traffic from both Google and Seznam.

Dovolenka.SME.sk

Dovolenka.sme.sk already had a website with hundreds of thousands of URLs back in 2014. The transition to a new design, structure, and content was a huge change.
In the end, we managed the redesign without a significant drop in organic traffic, and it kicked off more than 10 years of successful cooperation.

Why address SEO during website migration?
1
You prevent major drops in traffic and sales
Thoughtless changes to URLs, structure, or content can confuse search engines and lead to a significant drop in traffic.
We help you go through the change so that traffic ideally does not decline and continues to grow in the future.
From an SEO perspective, your new website will be ready for further growth
A redesign is the ideal moment to build the website so it can continue to grow without unnecessary complications.
A well-configured website can handle new categories, filters, or landing pages without running into technical limitations every time you make a change.

You save time and money on the development side
We have programming experience, so we do not theorize. We deliver specific, understandable tasks and can coordinate directly with developers.
Developers’ time is not cheap, so we focus on changes that save them work and save you costs.
What SEO risk does your redesign bring?
We created an interactive guide with 20 questions about website redesign, and answering them can save you hundreds to thousands of euros in SEO.
We speak your developers’ language
1.
Thanks to the development of our own technical SEO tool, we know in detail the principles on which search bots work.
2.
We have programming experience, so we know exactly how to communicate the task to your developer.
3.
We have completed dozens of redesigns and have helped solve unusual problems as well.
Indicative pricing
If you lose 10%, 30%, or even 50% of SEO performance for a year, how much money will that be? This is the basic question we look to answer so that we can set the best possible balance between price and benefit.
Price is influenced by many factors, such as the scope and complexity of the website and the extent of intervention in the existing solution. That is why the price range is broad.
The service price usually ranges from €700 – €8,000 excluding VAT.

What do we handle during a redesign?
1. We analyze the risks
-
We identify the most important and less important pages from the perspective of organic search.
-
We agree on how much attention to give these pages during the redesign.
-
2. We prepare the website for redesign from an SEO perspective
- We set rules for URLs.
- We determine which pages and images need to be transferred to the new website.
- We evaluate which pages can be removed and where they should potentially be redirected.
- We define redirect rules.
- We check whether the proposed URLs work correctly (e.g. www, https, and similar).
- We agree on what content changes to make immediately after the redesign (what to keep, what to adjust).
- We check internal linking between pages (the so-called information architecture).
3. We set up on-page SEO for the new website
- We prepare requirements so the new website meets search engine expectations (e.g. loading speed, mobile version, sitemap, etc.).
- During development, we continuously review proposals, code, and potential issues (e.g. hidden content, pagination).
- We propose how different types of pages should be linked to each other.
- Before launching the new website, we do one more technical check of everything.
- Consultations are of course part of the whole process.
If only the design is changing (and not the system in the background), it is less demanding from an SEO perspective.4. We give you content recommendations
- If needed, we conduct keyword analysis and based on it adjust the main pages or propose new ones.
- We set rules for content creation – how to use keywords in titles, headings, etc.
5. We set up SEO analytics
- We prepare a list of the most important pages that need to be monitored to ensure they work properly after the redesign.
- We start keyword monitoring – tracking how they rank in search engines.
- We monitor whether users are hitting error pages (404 and similar).
6. After launch, we check and monitor everything
- We carry out a final technical review after deployment to make sure nothing is preventing the website from being indexed by search engines.
- We monitor the website’s progress after one day, one week, and one month from launch.
- We set up automatic monitoring of core SEO parameters so everything stays under control.
- If search engines get stuck somewhere or misunderstand something, we try to guide them.
